I'm still green with cvs, but this works for me...  I think they were 
FG's instructions:
 cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/home/cvs/srl login
# when asked for password just press the enter key.
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/home/cvs/srl co 
libradio rivendell

ps. I am attemting to get the CVS to run on RH9/Jack.  Have hit a couple 
of what I think are Qt version issues where some methods are obsolete.  
Will document with a diff when I get a better handle on it.
