Looking through my pictures and found a lot of Josiah and Abby together. It is fun to watch them together because they love each other so much. First thing in the morning Josiah always needs to hold Abby and give her hugs!

Josiah has also been busy growing and learning new things. I really need to write more of them down because some days he makes me laugh so hard! Yesterday we went for a walk and he pointed to a tree and asked if he could climb up to see Jesus. Then he sang me the Zacheus song. Very cute!

One day Josiah said “that’s very good listending Mom” when I did something he asked me to do.
He was really excited to go to the circus this year. He took Linaya and got to see the elephants. For a two year old boy that was amazing! He still talks about it, but mostly the story is about the elephant peeing on the floor. “He should use the potty!”

Another story of Josiah learning to be polite is that when Robert asked me to please pass the water at lunch one day Josiah said, “That was very nice Daddy. Thanks for using your polite words.”

He is also still very affectionate and loves to cuddle. This is with his cousin Patience when they were watching tv.

Did I mention that my kids will sleep anywhere???

Learning to play hockey with Daddy. A good Canadian boy!

And bouncing in the “big doggy trampoline” with Daddy and Janice!

He also got his face painted with Lightening McQueen from the Cars movie! Very cool!

He loves to play outside and loves the water. He’ll play until his lips are blue and cry when I make him take a break.

Still loves his “go gos”.

I love this picture. One of his favorite things to do right now is to sit on scoop, wear his construction hat, and watch Bob the Builder. He even wears his Bob hat when we go for walks. Other items recently worn on walks include: construction hat, mittens, cowboy hat, Robert boots, and his tiger costume from last Halloween.
Remember the very nice six month pictures we took of Abby on the front lawn? Here is what happens when big brother decides to steal the show!

So curious…

and determined….

and funny!

and sweet! We love our boy!

Lately I ask Josiah “You know what?” and then I say “I love you soooo much!”. Now he asks me the same question and tells me “Mommy, I love you tooooo much!”

So as you can probably tell from the title of this post, I am a little behind in my blogging again! This has been such a fun summer and a very busy summer. The weather has been so nice that we have been outside a lot! I keep reminding myself that this blog is a record of things I don’t want to forget so I need to keep up with it. This post is all about Abigail and then my next one will be about Josiah.
Abby is getting very big and very busy! She is now able to roll across the floor to get into whatever toys Josiah has out, she can sit on her own, babble loudly, turn circles on her tummy, and is just starting to push with her toes in an attempt to crawl. She is still the most easy-going baby in the world! She usually sleeps all night and is very content during the day. This last week she has been a bit of a mommy’s girl and she really likes to yell in line at the grocery store to get attention. One day she freaked out enough that two teenage boys came over and offered to pack my groceries for me. I let them
.
Here are some pictures of when Abigail was 4 months!

Here she is at 5 months!

This was her first attempt at solid food. She loved the rice cereal and insisted on feeding herself. I haven’t been able to get the spoon to her mouth yet without her grabbing it and shoving it in herself!

Here is another attempt at solids. Squash. Mmmm!

She has also been loving any time that she can spend in the water. This is Abigail swimming with her friend Tegan!

So this picture is really funny if you know that Abby is completely asleep and she has her leg straight up in the air. If she’s tired she can fall asleep anywhere. Sometimes she’ll be playing on the floor and I’ll look a couple minutes later and she is sound asleep!

Here is another example of my good sleeper. I tied her in the shopping cart with her sling and she got tired and fell asleep. What a sweetie!

Here is my baby girl at 6 months already! At her 6 month check up she was exactly 16 pounds and looking great! We are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy girl!

This last picture is my favorite picture of Abby. It makes my heart hurt! She is just such a little sweet heart and we love her so much!
