After many months of not being allowed to leave the city I was quite excited to be able to go to the farm for a visit. Abby celebrated her one month birthday at the farm. Here are some pics of how she is growing. I think all she did that week was eat and that can be seen clearly in the cheeks! She is generally content and is a great snuggler!

My Mom has been making Josiah a big boy “Go Go” quilt. This is the first time he saw it. The quilt has special vehicles on it like Robert’s motorcycle and Grandpa’s purple semi.

Abby’s little boyfriend Levi. He was due a week ahead of her, but she won by a week! He is definitely winning the hair contest, but she has him in the cheeks category!
Here is Abigail’s one month photo shoot. We forgot to take the pink dog from Josiah to the farm with us. I’ll try remember for her two month pics 
This is the closest we got to a smile for this shoot. She has now started smiling a little bit. I have a few witnesses, but so far any time Robert looks she won’t smile. We’ll keep working on it!

I realized that in all the excitement of the last few months I have still not posted pics of Josiah’s second birthday. I was feeling incredibly sick that week so we just had a small celebration with my parents. It is my Dad’s birthday the same day as Josiah’s (Dec. 28) so they got to share a monster truck ice cream cake. I didn’t do a second birthday photo shoot, but here are some pics of him on his birthday riding his bike! What a big boy!
Looking back in this blog has been fun for me! I’m not a scrapbooker so I feel like I don’t have things well documented, but when I look back at old posts I realize how much of a story it tells of what Josiah has been doing.
Here are some new things my two year old is up to. On facebook everyone has been doing “25 random things” so here are some random things about Josiah:
1. He loves being a big brother and says “My hold her” at least 5 times a day! He gives her kisses on her head, tells me when she’s awake, and tries to drop her when he’s all done.
2. He’s a talker! At his second year check up the doctor said he talks like he’s three and a half. He can speak in 7-8 word sentences and loves to ask questions. Sometimes it is hard to remember that he doesn’t understand everything because he talks so clearly.
3. He loves his soother. He was almost done with it before he got a sister and now it has made a reappearance. Hopefully we can lose it soon.
4. He loves to sing. I have caught a few of those moments on video and will show them on a later post.
5. Some words he doesn’t say right are very cute. He sits on the grouch (couch) in the living room and when his hands are dirty asks for a quashquof (wash cloth).
6. At his second birthday he was 30 and a half inches tall. I may have a six foot tall son someday!
7. He LOVES the movie “Toy Story II”. He has little keychains of his favorite characters, calls them his friends, and takes them everywhere!
8. The “Cars” movie is also very cool and he likes his “lightenening queen” car the best.
9. He sings “The wheels on the bus” to Fillmore (the van from “Cars”).
10. He is convinced he is the same age as Xavier and Niles and imitates everything they do. They are 8 and 5 so sometimes he hurts himself when he acts like them.
11. Often referred to as a bull in the china shop. We have gone through many time-outs for plowing other children over. This seems to be getting better.
12. May or may not survive childhood with all the teeth he is supposed to have. Just this morning he stood on a chair and send it over backwards.
13. Loves to be outside.
14. Loves to wear hats.
15. He just had his last procedure to fix his blocked tear ducts. They are working like they are supposed to and we are happy to be done with that.
16. He had febrile seizures in the summer and we are thankful that he hasn’t had one since August.
17. He loves his cousin Linaya. Almost every time he is given something he automatically says “and one for Naya” if she is there or not .
18. He loves church and especially going to class. I think he would live there if he could.
19. He is very affectionate and gives lots of kisses.
20. When he gets hurt he says “my hurt myself” and kisses still make everything all better .
21. “My do it myself” seems to be a new trend.
22. He likes to play on his Daddy’s little laptop. One day a few months ago when the mouse wasn’t plugged in Josiah took it to the laptop, tried a couple different ways and plugged it in himself!
23. He knows lots of names! Family members, friends, characters from movies, and some I don’t even know.
24. He likes to pray at meals and moves like Stevie Wonder while he prays.
25. Is always ready to go to Grandpa and Grandma’s house (either set) and gets so excited to see all of them!
Hope I didn’t bore anyone with my list, but I wanted to write a few things down so I can remember! We love our sweet, funny, busy little boy and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!
